While Rich Tong and everyone at Ludlow bookbinders work out how to actually make Frozen Hell (the section and way in which we are binding the plates into the book are proving complex, more of which we’ll go into in the coming weeks) we’ve been working on a very special book coming this summer; The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with relief letterpress prints by Dave McKean, Phil Abel at Hand and Eye has been doing some tests on the prints, the colours are not right but, man! The texture as you rub your fingers over the print is out of this world!
