Following on from the shots that Phil and Robert have posted, Robert Hetherington from Hand and Eye sent some film of Phil Abel, also from Hand and Eye and Arete publisher, making up the type ready for printing, these edits of the footage just don’t give any indication of the time that Phil has to give preparing the metal type, I’ll post the unedited footage in the comments for those that want to see just what goes into some of the preparations for a page of type. OK, Facebook won’t accept the unedited file! I’ll have to find a work around…
