Greg Manchess has been working on a rich abundance of paintings for ‘Frozen Hell’, here is one of the character portraits he is doing for the book, McReady testing paranoid survivors of the Thing’s destruction within the Artic base.
This is a great insight into how he develops an oil painting, I love to see how each layer adds tone, colour and form.
