From Ludlow Bookbinders, Rich Tong sent some pics of the work in progress of The Case of Death and Honey from the last couple of weeks, leather ready to be cut to size, sheets of leather waiting to be blocked…it’s getting there!

Neil Gaiman goes on a tour for a few months so, we needed to get signature pages off to him to sign while he is in production of Anansi Boys. This just in! Neil signing all the copies of his slim poetry book ‘Words of Fire’, every copy will have his autograph. Thank you Neil! Wonderful man.

Rich Tong is deep into making the books for Neil Gaiman’s ‘The Case of Death and Honey’, while he battles away at Ludlow Bookbinders, we thought we’d have a Sunday Art drop! Greg Manchess has been working on a rich abundance of paintings for ‘Frozen Hell’, here is one of the character portraits he is doing for the book, McReady testing paranoid survivors of the Thing’s destruction within the Artic base.

This is a great insight into how he develops an oil painting, I love to see how each layer adds tone, colour and form.

Ludlow Bookbinders are hard at work on our three editions of the ‘The Case of Death and Honey’. We had hoped that they would be finished by the end of March but it is a large and complex job and is taking longer than expected. We now plan to start shipping at the end of April or the beginning of May.
